After winning the Gulli Prize in the Animation Du Monde Category at Annecy 2018, Gulli, the Lagardère-owned kids network, announced in Annecy on June 14 that it has pre-purchased “L’arbre à Palimpseste” (The Tree of Palimpsest) for broadcast across its Gulli Africa network.
Caroline Mestik (Director of Programs and Antennas Gulli, Canal J, Tiji at Lagardère Television Center) praised the series for the evocative way it “immerses children in their own story by presenting them with great African figures.” After our successful production of the pilot episode of “L’arbre à Palimpseste”, Basement Animation Studio will continue its relationship with the Nebularts Production team to produce the first full Season of “L’arbre à Palimpseste”.
